Jun 06, 2024Fathers Day is this week. And while most people like to get their dads a tie or barbecue tools (again!) for the big day, I like to find things that Dads will actually use.
Ha!

Maybe you’ve already known and listened to it, but I recently discovered Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers. I started with an older episode (the one originally suggested to me) where they interviewed Colin Jost. It’s not THAT old… from July of 2023.
But it made me laugh. And it made me want to bring snacks on our next family trip (iykyk).
I’ve been making my way through all the episodes. It feels like the perfect podcast for summer because FAMILY TRIPS! Check it out, if you haven’t already.

I don’t remember when I started following @davidgatepoet on Instagram, but everytime he posts this poem, I stop and re-read it.
It’s so powerful:
