Reels are trendy

Trends are great for a few minutes of fun. And to get new eyeballs on your content and offers.
But the very word "trendy" in social media is defined as being relevant "within a short period of time."
A short period of time.
Trends are not strategies.
Reels and TikToks are not strategies. They're trends. Which can be PART of a strategy.
We are craving deeper, more meaningful connections.
Yes, we love sharing 15ish second videos with our friends, but then what? How do we stay connected, sticky, and even garner loyalty and longevity?
It takes more than a few trending audios or videos for stickiness. We need more from our relationships to go from causal viewer to buyer to evangelist.
Try adding one or more of these to strengthen relationships with your people on social media:

- Stories
- Carousels
- Emails and SMS
- Podcast
- Blog
- In-person events and retreats
- Online events
- Community pages
- Membership program
We are craving more than trends. Connection reigns supreme.
